The Cape Arundel Cottage Preserve is a large, seasonal cottage development that started in late 2015 and the 270-unit development is still being built today. The project sits on 300 acres just minutes from the beaches of Kennebunkport. It features neighborhood living with customized houses and a large community center with amenities such as a pool, waterfalls, and access to the Eastern Trail. R.J. Grondin & Sons has performed all the earthwork on this project ranging from all the infrastructure of sewer, water, drainage and roadways to the excavation of the individual units and rough grading for landscaping. All of the sub-base gravels for the infrastructure, roadways and driveways were produced with 40,000+ cubic yards of blasted ledge produced from the early phases of the project and blended with nearby, Grondin-owned aggregates. There are 7 phases for the project buildout.
